Orientation and approach

I offer individualized therapy for children , adolescents and adults who may be experiencing emotional difficulties which are having a negative impact on their lives. I offer both short and long tern psychotherapy. In the short term , together we set goals and my aim is to teach different skills and offer tools to assist the person to function better. Should the person decide to work over a longer period, one of the goals is to gain a deeper understanding of the origin of the difficulties that the person has been experiencing and the impact it's had on the person's life.

Personal Statement

I am an integrative Therapist. Integrative Therapy involves selecting models and methods from across orientations to best suit a particular client and context. I aim to match evidence-based treatment methods and healing relationships to the client. My approach to therapy is customized according to each person's unique needs, circumstances and preferences. I use a variety of approaches, namely Psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Person-Centered therapy, Hypnotherapy as well as Psycho-educational and mindfulness-based practices.
