I work with individuals, groups, couples and teens who are facing a number of difficulties including clinical disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar) as well as life challenges such as relationship difficulties and trauma. I believe psychotherapy is a journey that should be undertaken in a therapeutic relationship that is safe, direct and honest.

I have a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology that I obtained from Unisa. I work from multiple theories and perspectives and tailor therapy to suit the individual or couple.

I believe a genuine therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective psychotherapy. I suggest people try a couple of therapists before deciding who they would like to work with. A good fit between client and therapist ensures more rewarding therapy.

Most people feel a bit anxious when they arrive for a first session but a skilled therapist should make you feel at ease and guide the session towards mutually agreed upon goals.

I work with a range of human struggles including:

  • Depression
  • Post Natal Depression
  • Bipolar
  • Anxiety and panic attacks
  • Trauma and post-traumatic stress
  • Relationship difficulties and divorce
  • Emotional abuse
  • Sexual abuse
  • Eating disorders
  • Work stress
  • Mindfulness
  • Lifestyle balance
