Imago Clinical Training Module 1: 10 – 13 October 2016

couples counsellingDo you ever find yourself with couples who get stuck in the process of couples therapy? How do you help them to overcome their resistance? How do you help them to continue with their own work outside of your office?

Kobus van der Merwe and Michele Naude (Imago Clinical Instructors) are teaching trainees how to work effectively with a couple so that they can feel more motivated to explore their own relationship and their barriers to growth. They develop insight, and a different relationship experience that keeps them inspired and energised to work together.

Imago takes the frustration out of couples counselling offering the therapist an experience of confidence, renewed energy and has been described as “an intricately integrated therapeutic model which offers concrete and at times powerfully evocative experiential learning moments for clients.”
