Who would benefit from the workshop?

Psychologists, social workers, child and youth care workers, counselors who have had limited training in play therapy 101 or who need to brush up on their skills.

Topics addressed in the workshop:

  • Understanding children’s cognitive and psycho-social development
  • Relating to children through play
  • Non-verbal and verbal therapy skills including tracking,
    reflecting and facilitation.
  • Trauma and play
  • Tried and tested techniques
